What is possible
for you?

In 2017, I teamed up with Indigo Dragon Center to create a unique physical therapy practice in a retreat that offers my patients a very individualized holistic approach to their healing. Though I’m grounded in science and traditionally trained, I have always felt a great attraction to the Eastern system of meridians and treating the entire body as a whole entity.  We are magnificent beings- an intricate combination of physical, mental, emotional, and bioenergetics, so I invite you to consider a more enlightened approach to your recovery and “feeling well.”

As a Doctor of Physical Therapy and an Advanced Practitioner of Frequency-Specific Microcurrent (FSM), I have witnessed a high success rate in re-establishing “pain-free and back to life”. I rely on my PT expertise, fascial release skills, intuition, and add in cutting edge technologies that use frequency and your own bodies infrared to get further faster. By working “with the body’s physiology”, our deeper energetic systems can release pain, trauma, inflammation, and anxiety and elevate the “joy” we all wish to feel!

If you have been suffering from chronic pain or injuries that don’t seem to resolve, or if you’ve been unsuccessful with the therapy you’ve tried, let’s discuss a better strategy!

I specialize in difficult cases, and I would love for us to explore the possibilities for your life with ease and excitement for the future.

I am an APTA credentialed clinical instructor, certified strength and conditioning specialist, and board certified orthopedic specialist (Emeritus). After earning my clinical Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, I followed my passion for anatomy to San Diego where I joined the UCSD faculty in teaching Human Dissection to the 2nd year medical students. The 10 years I spent exploring the inner workings of the body has shaped my unique view of the body and elevated my skill set in addressing difficult and complex cases.

I am a “holistic” practitioner, meaning I work with you from head to toe. Complex conditions are often resolved when the whole body is treated.

What Patients Are Saying

“Lara is an absolute gem! She is so talented and knowledgeable and a true master of her craft. Her understanding of human anatomy is beyond impressive and her ability to articulate it is truly amazing. I feel so fortunate that I was referred to her to treat ongoing hip pain and now have her as a resource for all my PT needs!
Lara invests all of her tools, techniques and energy into every moment of her sessions. She is dedicated to discovering the root of the problem and finding solutions, and I highly recommend her!”

“I have personally seen Lara and she is amazing! She has such an in-depth knowledge of the fascial systems of the body and her experience and intuitive nature make her an incredible healer! I have referred many of my own patients to her and everyone loves her! I highly recommend her!”

“I’ve been going to Lara Langdon for many years because she is an amazing therapist. Lara knows intuitively how to turn around my symptoms of pain and put me back into a place of  balance and well being.
I highly recommend Lara for her comprehensive skills and caring touch.”

“Lara is a remarkable, gifted healer, and integrative physical therapist. Since my life-threatening car accident in 2011, I had frequent bouts of pain in my right shoulder and neck. In June of 2018 I could no longer use my arm to work on a computer. I also had serious left ear pain as well as vision issues. Eventually, I crashed physically and could not continue to work.

For years, I saw various practitioners with limited success.  Part of my fear was relying on pain medications that left me feeling like a zombie. I was desperate, but fearful that my ear, neck and shoulder pain would never improve. As an Occupational Therapist, I held out hope that my body could heal, if I could find the right support. I was referred to Lara by another physical therapist, who knew of her skill in myofascial release. Even after our first meeting, I felt more hopeful and quickly began to move out of despair as the pain began to release.

As Lara worked with me, old emotional trauma surfaced which also needed to release. Lara made me feel safe when it was overwhelming and intense.

I had no idea what had been stuck for years or that it could be released! Lara truly is my angel and she has always been 100% there for me, supporting me, on and off the table. Lara is a rare gem and radiant being.

My quality of life has tremendously improved, thanks to her expert skill but most importantly, her profound spiritual  and loving connection. I cannot express how deep my gratitude goes for Lara and how much she has helped me heal!”

“My elbow pain had been awful for 2 years and had created problems in almost every aspect of my life. Lara was the turning point in my recovery and helped me through the healing process. I HIGHLY recommend Lara, she is an amazing physical therapist and person.”

“Lara does amazing healing in her practice. I came to her with a neck/shoulder and back issue. She has relieved my pain and created a space for sharing how my pain may be manifesting from other areas of life – be it from relationships, workouts, life challenges, finances & children. Lara is passionate at what she does and her energy radiates to her patients creating an environment for self reflection and inspiration. Lara generously shares her incredible knowledge of the human body by demonstrating helpful exercises and pinpointing where and how pain is being created. Lara will always be part of my healing protocol.”
